Gem 1911-S Saint-Gaudens Twenty

1911-S $20 MS65 PCGS. This original green-gold Gem has coruscating luster and an exemplary strike. The obverse is virtually immaculate, and only a single tick on the central reverse keeps the present piece out of the MS66 category. No double eagles were struck at San Francisco in 1912, the first such omission since 1886.(Registry values: N2998)
