Enticing Gem 1911-S Double Eagle
1911-S $20 MS65 PCGS. The softly lustrous yellow-orange surfaces of this attractive Gem have faint elements of sun-gold in the fields. The central devices exhibit strong detail, and the overall eye appeal is strong. While the 1911-S is one of the more available Saint-Gaudens issues, finding an attractive piece can take time, and anything finer is a condition rarity; PCGS has graded just 23 such coins (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FL, PCGS# 9159, GSID# 10168)
