Satiny Near-Gem 1912 Double Eagle
1912 $20 MS64 NGC. A lovely near-Gem example of this relatively available early P-mint Saint-Gaudens issue. The surfaces are khaki-gold with some suggestions of mint near the rims. Even a loupe fails to reveal anything except a bold strike over satiny surfaces with few marks and excellent eye appeal.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FM, PCGS# 9160, GSID# 10139)
