Delightful 1912 Double Eagle, MS64
1912 $20 MS64 PCGS. Intense yellow-gold luster swirls on each side of this near-Gem, fueled by undercurrents of orange. The strike is solid, and though a handful of significant abrasions are visible at Liberty's left (facing) leg and in the left field, the rest of the coin is relatively mark-free. Small areas of alloy are also found, most prominently on Liberty's upper gown.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FM, PCGS# 9160, GSID# 10139)
