Description

Well Struck 1913 Double Eagle, MS64

1913 $20 MS64 PCGS. This is the highest grade one can hopefully expect to obtain a 1913 double eagle, as anything finer than near-Gem is rare. Both sides possess great luster and uniform wheat-gold patination. A well executed strike emboldens the design features. Some linear marks are concealed within the eagle's plumage.(Registry values: N2998)
