Description

Glowing 1913-S Twenty Dollar, MS62

1913-S $20 MS62 PCGS. CAC. Despite the low mintage of 34,000 1913-S double eagles, it is an issue that is merely scarce rather than rare in Mint State, as other, later series issues were melted in much heavier percentages. This glowing apricot-gold piece displays generous luster with moderate, scattered abrasions that account for the grade, but much eye appeal is present nonetheless.(Registry values: N1793)
