Description
Lustrous MS62 1913-S Twenty
1913-S $20 MS62 PCGS. Among the With Motto double eagles the 1913-S is second in terms of low mintage only to the 1908-S, and their easily remembered five-digit mintages (34,000 and 22,000 coins, respectively) serve to increase their popularity among collectors. A few moderate abrasions on Liberty's exposed left (facing) thigh are chiefly responsible for the grade, with lesser contact marks visible elsewhere, none particularly distracting. Bold cartwheel luster radiates from the yellow-gold surfaces, and the strike is well-executed.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FR, PCGS# 9163, GSID# 10170)
