Description

Low Mintage 1913-S Twenty, MS64

1913-S $20 MS64 PCGS. Strongly lustrous with vivid orange-gold surfaces. Although the Capitol building is softly defined, the other design elements are bold. Minor field marks limit the grade. Only 34,000 pieces were struck for this widely hoarded issue. No double eagles were struck at San Francisco in 1912, the first such gap in that Mint's production since 1886.
