Description

Select 1914 Double Eagle

1914 $20 MS63 NGC. Warm yellow-gold luster with considerable orange overtones. This Select coin's general lack of marks is suggestive of a finer designation, though abrasions are noted to the left of Liberty's hair and on the eagle's tailfeathers. A small alloy dot is hidden in the sun's rays on the reverse.
