Low-Mintage 1914 Saint-Gaudens Twenty, MS63

1914 $20 MS63 PCGS. CAC. A small mintage of 95,200 business strike Saint-Gaudens double eagles was achieved at the Philadelphia Mint in 1914, the smallest production total of the With Motto type. Thanks to its presence in hoards, the issue is available in grades up to the Gem level today. The present coin is an attractive specimen, sharply struck, with frosty mint luster. The surfaces are a pleasing orange-gold, with a minimum of handling marks for the grade.(Registry values: N1793)
