Description

Lustrous 1914 Near-Gem Double Eagle

1914 $20 MS64 PCGS. Honey-gold patination is laced with wisps of light tan. Radiantly lustrous surfaces exhibit sharply struck design features, including the fingers on both hands and the eagle's plumage. A few minute marks are consistent with the grade designation. This issue becomes quite elusive any finer.
