Description

Attractive MS65 1914-D Double Eagle

1914-D $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1914-D is a readily accessible issue in most grades, though like almost any other Saint-Gaudens date, anything finer than this Gem is highly elusive. Subtly green-tinged yellow-gold surfaces are immensely lustrous. The obverse shows few marks, though the reverse displays a pair of distinct abrasions at the middle of the eagle.(Registry values: N2998)
