Description
Lovely Gem 1914-D Double Eagle
1914-D $20 MS65 PCGS. Even though this issue is relatively plentiful in Gem quality, few finer examples have been certified. This is the optimum collecting grade for this issue, in our opinion. This example has lustrous yellow-gold surfaces with a slightly pebbly appearance, typical of many branch mint coins from this period.(#9165) (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FT, PCGS# 9165, GSID# 10171)
