Description

Impressive 1914-D Twenty, MS66

1914-D $20 MS66 NGC. While the 1914-D twenty is much more plentiful than the 1914, it is still a rarity in higher grades, from a mintage of just 453,000 coins. At the top grade levels, the 1914-D keeps going strong, with extremely low populations in MS66 or finer grades. Satiny yellow-gold surfaces provide a base for the delicate orange-gold toning. Census: 37 in 66, 2 finer (11/09).(Registry values: N4719)
