Description
Appealing MS65 1916-S Double Eagle
1916-S $20 MS65 NGC. Bold yellow-gold luster forms the base of this 1916-S double eagle, but the surfaces also show a number of different colors. White patina covers parts of the fields, and while the obverse shows a few small alloy dots, the dots turn to prominent streaks on the reverse. Aside from an abrasion on the eagle's wing, the surfaces are minimally marked.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FX, PCGS# 9169, GSID# 10174)
