1916-S $20 MS66 PCGS. Ex: Brahin. The 1915-S and 1916-S double eagles are among the most popular in the Saint-Gaudens series, a combination of their coveted mintmark and excellent production values. Lower-quality coins of the issue, however, are likely to show numerous bagmarks. This piece shows no such complaints, with marvelous luster and lovely peach-gold coloration, complemented on the reverse by some patches of hazel.
