1916-S $20 MS66 PCGS. Only San Francisco struck double eagles in 1916, and its production of 796,000 pieces was the last output of the denomination until 1920. This Premium Gem example, tied for the finest certified by PCGS (2/10), has strong yellow-orange luster and a decidedly above-average strike. A few marks are noted on the reverse, hidden in the eagle's wing feathers.(Registry values: N2998)
