Description

1920 Saint-Gaudens Twenty, MS64

1920 $20 MS64 NGC. A Choice olive-gold twenty whose crisply struck surfaces display sweeping luster. The 1920 was the first postwar gold issue of any denomination, along with the 1920-S Indian eagle. While the latter was extensively melted and is rare regardless of grade, the 1920 is collectible, although certainly scarcer than the 1922 through 1928 Philadelphia issues. As of (8/10), NGC has certified only nine examples in higher grades.(Registry values: N2998)
