Description

Resplendent 1920 Twenty, MS64

1920 $20 MS64 PCGS. CAC. The 1920 Saint-Gaudens double eagle has been considered a common date based on the 228,250 coin mintage. However, population data tells an entirely different story, especially in grades above the present piece. In fact, PCGS has only certified one finer coin (11/09)! This borderline Gem is extremely close to the next grade level. It exhibits frosty yellow luster and sharp detail with only a few tiny marks.(Registry values: N2998)
