Description
Scarce Choice 1920 Double Eagle
1920 $20 MS64 PCGS Secure. CAC. Ex: Kutasi. This peach-gold near-Gem is well struck aside from the panes of the Capitol building. Generally well preserved, and we note only moderate contact near Liberty's extended arm. Between 2004 and 2006, John Kutasi owned the #1 PCGS Registry Set of Indian Eagles. His collection was the highlight of our 2007 Orlando FUN Signature auction. The 1920 is a better date, although available relative to the rare 1921.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FY, PCGS# 9170, GSID# 10143)
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
