Description

Impressive 1920 Double Eagle, MS64

1920 $20 MS64 PCGS. Many collectors think of the 1920 double eagle as a common date, and while it is plentiful in lower Mint State grades, Gems are extremely rare, placing additional demand on this near-Gem example. NGC and PCGS have certified exactly eight finer pieces (2/10). This specimen has brilliant and highly lustrous honey-gold surfaces with sharp design details and excellent surfaces. Only a few trivial, grade-consistent marks are noted.
