Description
Lustrous MS65 1922 Double Eagle
1922 $20 MS65 NGC. A lustrous Gem representative of this much-favored Philadelphia issue. Lightly patinated wheat-gold surfaces show subtle peach overtones on the obverse. Well struck with only a handful of marks, trivial in themselves, which combine to preclude an even finer designation. NGC has graded only eight numerically superior coins (2/10).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G3, PCGS# 9173, GSID# 10145)
