1922 $20 MS65 PCGS. The discovery of various hoards has made the 1922 double eagle one of the most plentiful issues in the entire series. Pleasing luster adorns apricot-gold surfaces imbued with hints of khaki-green. Generally well struck and minimally abraded. Gem coins such as this are the finest most collectors will acquire; PCGS and NGC have seen only 15 coins finer (8/08).(Registry values: N2998)
