Description
Beautiful Gem 1922 Saint-Gaudens Twenty Dollar
1922 $20 MS65 PCGS. This Gem Saint-Gaudens double eagle possesses simply extraordinary eye appeal, by any standard. Coruscating mint frost in the fields is unusually intense, for the type, and beautifully complements the variegated lime-green and peach-gold toning across each side. Surface marks are only minor, as expected for the grade. Just seven examples have been certified at finer levels, by PCGS (8/08).
