Description
Outstanding 1922 Twenty, MS65
1922 $20 MS65 PCGS. Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth describe the 1922 double eagle as one of the most plentiful dates in the series, available in grades up to MS65. However, few collectors can ever aspire to own a finer piece, as NGC and PCGS have only graded 15 coins better than MS65. This Gem has lovely orange and yellow-gold surfaces with satin luster and few marks of any kind. It is an outstanding example.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G3, PCGS# 9173, GSID# 10145)
