Dynamic Gem 1922 Double Eagle
1922 $20 MS65 PCGS. A beautiful butter-gold Gem with scintillating luster and an absence of consequential marks. A generally sharp strike aside from slight incompleteness on the sun and the eagle's breast. A common date in MS62 through MS64, but quite scarce in MS65 relative to the 1924. PCGS and NGC combined have certified only 15 coins finer (8/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G3, PCGS# 9173, GSID# 10145)
