Description
Impressive 1922 Double Eagle, MS65
1922 $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1922 is a frequent choice for type collections, and this impressive Gem would make an excellent representative. Coruscating luster shimmers beneath the yellow-gold patina that drapes both sides. Pleasing lilac accents add to the appeal. The top of the obverse has a number of striations and the strike is a trifle soft in that area. A few nearly microscopic spots do not distract.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G3, PCGS# 9173, GSID# 10145)
