Description
Attractive 1922 Gem Twenty Dollar
1922 $20 MS65 PCGS. Subtle hues of peach-gold, mint-green, and lavender patination run over the radiantly lustrous surfaces of this lovely MS65 double eagle specimen. A powerful strike emboldens the design features, including the panes of the Capitol building, Liberty's fingers, and the eagle's plumage. Some grade-consistent marks do not detract.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G3, PCGS# 9173, GSID# 10145)
