Description
Outstanding 1922 Gem Double Eagle
1922 $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1922 is one of the most plentiful dates in the Saint-Gaudens double eagle series through MS65. Higher-grade coins are extremely rare. Splashes of lilac visit the orange-gold surfaces of this Gem. The luster is outstanding and the design elements are well impressed. Some grade-consistent marks do not detract.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G3, PCGS# 9173, GSID# 10145)
