1922-S $20 MS64 PCGS. CAC. Radiant, frosty mint luster is
the outstanding characteristic of this attractive near-Gem double
eagle. All design elements are strongly impressed, and the eye
appeal is delightful. Choice specimens of the 1922-S are elusive,
and PCGS has certified only 13 coins in higher numeric grades
(5/10). Encapsulated in an old green label holder.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G4, PCGS# 9174, GSID# 10176)
