Description

Scarce Choice 1922-S Twenty Dollar

1922-S $20 MS64 PCGS. Like other S-mint issues from the 1920s, the 1922-S has a fairly high mintage but was mass-melted in the 1930s. Most survivors are Mint State but moderately abraded. The present near-Gem has occasional minor marks or rose-red alloy spots, but the lustrous honey-gold surfaces are nonetheless pleasing.(Registry values: N2998)
