Gem 1923 Saint-Gaudens Twenty
1923 $20 MS65 NGC. The 1923, like the 1927 and similar dates, had a high survival rate in overseas hoards. Yet only a small fraction of the original mintage survives in Gem today. The present example offers attractive luster and largely mark-free yellow-gold surfaces with glints of apricot.
