Description
Compelling Gem 1923 Double Eagle
1923 $20 MS65 PCGS. Although several of the P-mint Saint-Gaudens twenties are relatively available, the 1924 and 1928 are the most abundant in high grades. The 1923 is not a rare coin, but it is one that is quite well-produced, and in Gem condition is in great demand. The present example displays generous luster with a two-toned effect, orange-gold on the higher points and some hazel-gray in the lower fields. A compelling and startlingly original Gem.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G5, PCGS# 9175, GSID# 10146)
