Exceptionally Clean Fields
1923 $20 MS65 PCGS. Gem 1923 Saint-Gaudens double eagles can
be obtained with patience, but higher-grade examples are extremely
rare. To date, PCGS and NGC have certified a combined total of four
specimens in higher grades (5/10). The present coin is a lovely
Gem, with vibrant, frosty luster and sharp striking details. Both
sides are smooth save for a single thin mark on the left (facing)
thigh.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26G5, PCGS# 9175, GSID# 10146)
