Description

Gem 1923 Double Eagle
A Gloriously Well-Made Coin

1923 $20 MS65 PCGS. This P-mint double eagle issue, while widely available in lower Mint State grades, is still somewhat elusive in high grades, although survivors at the MS65 level are gloriously well-made Mint products. This Gem exhibits the desirable grade criteria, with radiant luster washing over near-pristine orange-gold surfaces, crisply struck devices, and no mentionable distractions. PCGS has certified three pieces only in finer grades (6/10).(Registry values: N2998)
