Description

1923 Twenty Dollar, Tied as the Finest Known

1923 $20 MS66 PCGS. Ex: Duckor Collection. This attractive Premium Gem is boldly struck and fully lustrous, with noticeably variegated pastel colors including blue, gold, and orange. Several diagonal darker toning streaks bisect the obverse, extending across Liberty's legs. There are a minimal number of bagmarks, and most of them are very superficial in nature. This is one of only two examples that have been graded MS66 at PCGS, none are known to NGC above MS65 (9/05). A wonderful opportunity for the gold specialist.
