Description

Appealing 1924 Double Eagle, MS67

1924 $20 MS67 NGC. The 1924 double eagle is undoubtedly the single most plentiful issue in the entire series from 1907 to 1933. It had the second highest mintage of any Saint-Gaudens twenty with more than 4.3 million coins. Only the 1928 had a higher mintage that soared to 8.8 million pieces. This Superb Gem is highly lustrous with brilliant lemon-yellow surfaces and exceptional eye appeal. NGC and PCGS have graded a total of only three finer coins (2/10).
