Description

Beautiful 1924 Twenty Dollar, MS67

1924 $20 MS67 PCGS. The 1924 is likely the most common issue of the Saint-Gaudens double eagle series. This is evident from inspection of PCGS/NGC population data that illustrate tens of thousands being certified. It is scarce in MS67, however, and rare any finer. Radiantly lustrous surfaces display beautiful orange-gold color and exquisitely struck design elements. Except for a few of the expected, though minor rim ticks, both sides are impeccably preserved. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 79 in 67, 1 finer (8/09).(Registry values: N4719)
