Borderline Uncirculated 1925-S Double Eagle
1925-S $20 AU58 NGC. The satiny luster is comprehensive, but slight wear is present on the eagle's breast and on Liberty's chest and knee. An affordable slider of this branch mint rarity. The 1925-S is a high mintage issue, but only a tiny fraction of the production avoided the Treasury smelter.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26GC, PCGS# 9182, GSID# 10181)
