Interesting Tripled Die Obverse
1926 $20 Tripled Die Obverse MS65 PCGS. FS-101. A strong
pivot-point tripled die obverse variety, evident on the designer's
monogram and nearby rays, as well as the tip of the 9 in the date.
The demand for interesting gold Cherrypickers' varieties can
only increase over time, since such pieces carry little if any
premium today. This is a beautiful butter-gold Gem that boasts
booming luster and an impressively unmarked appearance.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26GD, PCGS# 9183, GSID# 10149)
