Only 22,000 Coins Struck

1908-S $20 AU50 PCGS. This San Francisco issue is a series key with a minuscule mintage of 22,000 coins. These represent the first Saint-Gaudens twenties from the California branch mint. Red-gold surfaces exhibit moderate friction over the highest points of the design. Minimally abraded.
