James VI 30 Shillings 1582 VF35 PCGS, S-5487. Fourth Coinage. The bold devices and crisp legibility place this specimen on the door step of an Extra Fine assignment. The allure is heightened by the extreme doubling in a portion of the obverse legend and portrait. Honest circulation wear has added a layer of a handled patina, which only serves to further the originality of this sword & scepter type.
