Description
1838-O 10C No Stars AU53 NGC. The 1838-O is essential to New Orleans type collectors, since it is the only No Stars dime from the Southern facility. It is also the first O-mint dime issue, although Breen believed that examples (such as the present coin) from a rusted obverse die were struck as late as 1839.
