1839 No Drapery Dime, MS66
High-End Type Coin
1839 10C No Drapery, F-107, R.3, MS66 PCGS. Repunching on
star 8 aids in attribution of Fortin-107, which is one of the more
plentiful 1839 No Drapery dime varieties. This Premium Gem example
displays a sharp strike and satiny, golden-toned mint luster. A
thin, faint mark appears in the obverse field near stars 12 and 13,
but the coin is otherwise essentially pristine. Eye appeal is
outstanding. Population: 15 in 66 (2 in 66+), 12 finer (10/23).From The Kankakee Collection.
