Conditionally Scarce Gem BU 1842 Seated Dime
1842 10C MS65 PCGS. We have not handled a similarly, or finer graded 1842 Seated dime in recent memory. This is a mostly satiny coin whose surfaces reveal a modest glow in the fields. There is no mentionable toning, and distracting abrasions are also conspicuously absent. A lovely coin for the early date type collector.
