Suitably Struck 1842-O Dime, MS63
1842-O 10C MS63 NGC. Fortin-101. The Medium O mintmark was entered at an angle, and is heavy at the top and light at the base. A suitably struck and nearly untoned example with bright, satin-like luster and just a few minute marks. Despite a mintage of 2.02 million pieces, the 1842-O is rare in AU and better grades.
