Description

1845 10C F-105a, R.4, MS65 NGC. High date, dual cracks through E in STATES. This nicely struck Gem has a splendidly patinated reverse. The peach-gold center is framed by concentric bands of lavender, ocean-blue, lemon-gold, and fire-red. The obverse displays similar but more subtle shades. The lustrous surfaces are unblemished. Census: 12 in 65, 7 finer (12/18).
