Deeply Prooflike Fields
1853 10C Arrows MS66 ★ NGC. NGC saw fit to award this
Premium Gem 1853 With Arrows dime a Star designation rather than a
Prooflike notation. Both sides are razor-sharp with frosty motifs
and deeply reflective fields. A sharp knife rim surrounds both
peripheries. This high-end Arrows type coin is brilliant aside from
a hint of light champagne color overall. Under a loupe, the only
abrasions seen are a few light marks in the right obverse field.
