Description

1853 With Arrows Dime, MS67+
Just Four Finer at PCGS; CAC Endorsed

1853 10C Arrows MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Pinpoint striking definition, silver-gray centers, and light golden-tan rim highlights define this lovely coin. Both sides exhibit billowing frosty luster with some as-struck granularity around the peripheries. Die cracks exist at the top of the reverse wreath.

With an original mintage of 12 million pieces, the 1853 Arrows is anything but rare in circulated and lower Mint State grades. However, above the MS65 threshold, the certified population of this important first-year issue declines rapidly, and those coins that do display Superb Gem surfaces are always in demand among high quality type collectors. Population: 2 in 67+, 4 finer. CAC: 7 in 67, 2 finer (12/25).
