Description

Lustrous 1853 Arrows Dime, MS67+

1853 10C Arrows MS67+ PCGS Secure. CAC. Struck from an obverse die with a Hubbed date and arrow heads, this piece has a shattered obverse and a clashed reverse. Gerry Fortin has identified 17 varieties through the study of die cracks and clash marks that appear on all the known pieces. This piece most closely resembles Fortin-109, with that variety illustrated by an AU50 example.
This incredible Superb Gem has fully brilliant silver surfaces with bold design motifs and considerable die wear in addition to the die cracks and clash marks. The surfaces are impressive and essentially flawless. This beauty will appeal to a wide audience, including type collectors, date collectors, variety specialists, and die state aficionado.
